Dr H Everett Russell was indeed we...Great photos! <br /><br />Dr H Everett Russell was indeed well-known within the medical community, but all for the wrong reasons. He was horrible about diphtheria vaccines in 1905. At the very time when the Department of Health should have been testing _every_ technique available to distressed medicos and parents, Russell was being as vicious as the anti-vaxxers are in our generation (i.e vaccines cause austism). <br /><br />I won't even dignify Dr Russell's thoughts about hatpins, the Edwardian woman's only defence against men's violence in public places.
