That ornate cornice seems to ...Great story, thanks. That ornate cornice seems to be the only surviving part of the front decoration. In fact the ornate foliate brackets under the arched pediment were really TOO restrained. If there was a cast iron balcony in front of the parlour windows, it would be great to put it back now.<br /><br />I would also take down the modern, messy advertising above the awning and re-create it in a matching, metal 1930s font.
