I had the pleasure of seeing the Devine Miss M and Rudolph baryshnikov dance in the nude once. Happy to see the tenants are taking care of the building at long last<br />.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7502312000087595701.post-43269839677975063972018-12-22T09:39:35.149-08:002018-12-22T09:39:35.149-08:00rose!

I studied with her for 35yrs. I would drive in from Brooklyn and was blessed to experience prayer and well worth the drive. She predicted many things and I shared in so many experiences. The class had many interesting people from many walk of life. If any of Rev. Roses students are out there and reading this send up light and love to all those who passed through her temple. I was only in the building once, in the late '70s. A friend who was enthusiastic over anything vaguely metaphysical took me to a group "reading" by a colorful psychic, one Rose Erickson, who occupied one of the more interestingly shaped apartments, and held extravagant court. As I recall, she was all one could want in a psychic, sort of Madame Arcati by way of Norma Desmond. She also offered nutritional advice, with frequent admonitions in her best prophecy-of-doom voice against "Sugar! It's Deadly Poison," and periodic references to her undoubtedly long-suffering husband... "And Erickson! My husband. He's very hard of hearing, but he Hears What He Wants To Hear..." And who could blame him? I had no idea about its ultra-luxe beginnings, or the bathhouse history, ha! Thanks for researching and writing this.Chris Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12486027268537119544noreply@blogger.com
